Job summary

Lyreco is seeking an experienced MHE Operator to join our Distribution Centre in Telford, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Rider Pallet Truck, moving pallets from Goods In to other areas of the warehouse.

We require a valid Rider Pallet Truck licence, accuracy, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. The role offers weekly rotating shifts, a permanent contract, and the opportunity to contribute to top‑quality customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid Rider Pallet Truck licence (essential).
• Previous experience as an MHE Operator, Pallet Truck Operator, Warehouse Op or similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• A commitment to working safely and following warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Rider Pallet Truck for the majority of your shift.
• Picking customer orders accurately from ankle height to head height.
• Achieving daily productivity and accuracy targets.
• Identifying damaged or defective stock and placing it into quarantine.
• Carrying out equipment checks and reporting any issues.
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure excellent customer service.

MHE Operator | Pallet Truck Operator

Location: Telford Head Office

Contract: Full Time | Permanent

Hours of work: Weekly rotating shifts : 9am – 5pm | 5pm – 1am

Salary: £27,222 per annum (+12.5% shift allowance)
