Job summary

NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK NHS FOUNDATION TRUST invites applications from mental health practitioners to join the CERN pathway at Gateway House, Wymondham. If you hold a core professional registration (Nursing, OT, Social Work), you will contribute to NICE-concordant DBT interventions for complex needs.

You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, receiving supervision and mentorship while helping to shape the evolving service and pathway development.

Qualifications

• Deliver specialised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for personality disorder.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary mental health team.
• Provide DBT consult and supervision where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Delivering specialised DBT for personality disorder to working-age adults; including individual and group work.
• Participating in DBT consult and MDT discussions.
• Collaborating with MDT to ensure integrated care and training for non-therapist colleagues.
• Adhering to service procedures, protocols and guidelines.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for mental health practitioner to be part of the complex emotional and relational needs (CERN) pathway based at Gateway House, Wymondham. If you have a core profession and registered with a professional body (such as Nursing, OT, Social Work) then we would like to hear from you.

This role is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience of working with people with complex emotional and relational needs. You will be part of the South/ West Dialectic Behaviour Therapy consult with a primary focus to provide NICE concordant DBT interventions to service users with personality disorder and other complex needs. The role includes: collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary members of the team, contributing to the development of an evolving pathway and shaping the future of our services.

Support and mentorship will be at the heart of your experience, as you'll have the chance to assist others in the multidisciplinary team who are delivering these vital interventions through consultation and supervision.

Main duties of the job

• Delivering specialised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Personality Disorder to working-age adults, including opportunities for individual and group work.
• Participating in DBT consult.
• Collaborating within a dynamic multi-disciplinary mental health team, ensuring seamless integration of care, and providing consultation, supervision and training to non-therapist team colleagues.
• Adhering to service procedures, protocols, and guidelines to maintain exceptional standards.
