Job summary

The Supply Register, in partnership with local Sheffield schools, is seeking a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for flexible supply opportunities. You will inspire students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and tailoring plans to meet learner needs.

Applicants should hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have experience teaching an MFL at secondary level, and maintain strong classroom management. DBS with Update Service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching a modern foreign language at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and professional conduct.
• Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Planning and adapting lessons to learner needs.
• Encouraging active participation and a love of language learning.
• Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress.
• Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborating with department staff and wider school teams.
