Marchant Recruitment is seeking a versatile MFL Teacher for January 2027 at a welcoming Biggleswade school. You will teach French and/or Spanish to KS3/KS4 and deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and accuracy in language learning.

The candidate should hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, with strong knowledge of at least one modern foreign language, and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities while providing clear explanations and feedback.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge in at least one modern foreign language.
• Can engage students with different abilities and levels of confidence.
• Uses clear explanations, modelling and assessment to support progress.
• Works well within a team and is committed to safeguarding.

Responsabilités

• Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, depending on expertise.
• Develop students' communication, grammar and vocabulary.
• Plan lessons that incorporate listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Assess progress and provide targeted feedback to support improvement.
• Work with the languages team to maintain curriculum consistency and encourage participation.
