Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking to speak with qualified MFL Teachers with QTS who are seeking day-to-day and supply teaching opportunities across Bristol from September 2026. As a Secondary MFL Teacher you will deliver language lessons across KS3 and KS4, follow school schemes of work, manage behaviour effectively and help students develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

The role offers flexible supply work and the chance to work across multiple schools in Bristol.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching MFL at secondary level.
• Ability to teach French, Spanish or another MFL.

Responsibilities

• Teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4.
• Delivering engaging and well-structured language lessons.
• Managing classroom behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Supporting students to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Adapting to different schools, year groups and teaching environments.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress where required.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking to speak with qualified MFL Teachers with QTS who are seeking day-to-day and supply teaching opportunities across Bristol from September 2026.

The Opportunity

As a Secondary MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging language lessons across KS3 and KS4, following school schemes of work and supporting students to develop their language skills and make progress.

This role would suit an experienced MFL Teacher or ECT with QTS who is looking for flexible supply work.

You will be expected to deliver well-structured lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and adapt quickly to different school environments.
