MFL Teacher - Alsager Area - January 2026 - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the Cheshire East area?

Academics is proud to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in the Alsager area in recruiting a dedicated Spanish and French Teacher for a maternity cover starting in January 2026. The role is expected to run until the end of the academic year in July 2026.

The Role:

• Teach engaging, high-quality French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver dynamic lessons that build confidence and help students communicate in a second language.
• Plan, mark and assess pupil progress in line with department policies.
• Use engaging methods - from conversational practice to cultural exploration - to inspire pupils.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, enthusiasm and participation in class.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - essential and required by the school.
• Confident teaching both Spanish and French up to KS4.
• Strong behaviour management and passion for language learning.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).

ECTs and experienced MFL Teachers are both encouraged to apply.
