A1 PERSONNEL EMPLOYMENT LIMITED is seeking a Metrology / CMM Engineer to lead the group-wide evolution of metrology across multiple sites. The role focuses on CMM optimisation and building a unified, best-in-class measurement framework to drive accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

You will act as the technical authority for metrology, collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, Design and Operations to implement training frameworks, standardise methods, and improve cycle times through smarter

Competenze

• Experience as CMM programmer/engineer in aerospace or precision engineering.
• Expertise in PC-DMIS or equivalent CMM software.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Proven track record in MSA, SPC and capability studies.
• Experience standardising metrology processes across sites.

• Evaluate & Challenge the Status Quo in metrology practices.
• Review existing CMM programs, measurement strategies, and inspection frequencies.
• Identify inefficiencies in equipment use, software, and processes.
• Conduct site visits to assess capability, performance, and best practices.
• Design the Future of Metrology and build a group-wide CMM & Metrology Strategy.
• Standardise programming methods, inspection plans, and reporting structures.
• Define training frameworks and competency standards.
• Lead & Influence as technical authority for metrology across the business.
