A global technology company in Coventry is seeking a quality measurement technician to program and operate CMM with PCDMIS, and support quality testing processes. The ideal candidate will have an HNC in Mechanical or Electrical and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in statistical methods and basic measurement tools is required. Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to produce reports.
• Comprehensive knowledge of G, D&T.

• Carry out PSW measurement and testing.
• Support the Company’s Goods Inwards Testing Plan.

Your tasks:

• Programming and Operating a CMM with PCDMIS.
• Plan and carry out annual internal and external re- qualification measurement to support product testing plan.
• Carry out PSW measurement and testing in line with specifications and project timing plans.
• Carry out measurement to support the Company’s Goods Inwards Testing Plan and record the results in SAP.
• Carry out internal PPAP measurement in line with specifications and project timing plans.
• Provide support for problem resolution.
• Provide data for statistical analysis.
• Interface with customers/supplier’s technical personnel as required.
• Carry out other duties as may be required.
• Complies with all the company, policies, procedures and guidelines.

Your Profile:

• HNC in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in similar field.
• Ability to write programme using PCDMIS.
• Comphrensive understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of statistical methods.
• Use of basic measurement equipment.
• Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools – 8D Process, Ishikawa, FMEA etc.
• PC Literate.
• Ability to produce reports.
• Comphrensive knowledge of G, D&T.
