Qualifications

We're looking for a Metrology/Calibration Engineer to join a world-leading engineering and technology organisation in Norfolk - supporting accredited calibrations across newly manufactured and existing high-performance products.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a globally recognised calibration team, ensuring absolute accuracy and reliability in every measurement.

The Role
  • Perform and develop calibration methods and techniques for high-level instrumentation.
  • Conduct uncertainty analysis, control charting, and statistical process control to maintain precision.
  • Review calibration results and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and accreditation.
  • Design and develop automated test and measurement systems to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all calibration and measurement processes.
What We're Looking For
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent calibration training/experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a metrology or calibration environment (preferably ISO/IEC 17025-accredited).
  • Familiarity with MET/CAL software and/or programming in C#, VB, Java, or Python for automation and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • A strong communicator who thrives in a team-driven, quality-focused environment.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.
