Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting a Meter Reader to join our client’s metering team in Kent, with fieldwork across residential and commercial properties.

You will visit sites, read gas, electricity and water meters, plan daily routes on a handheld device and walk several miles each day outdoors while delivering excellent customer service.

Formación

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Five-year employment history may be required.
• Able to pass a DBS check.
• Willing to work outdoors and walk several miles daily.

Pay: £12.81+ per hour PAYE, depending on location

Our client is a leading provider of metering services within the UK energy retail sector and is currently looking for a Meter Reader to join their dedicated Metering team in Kent.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors and meeting customers while managing their own daily workload.

The Role

As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial properties to accurately record meter readings for gas, electricity and water meters.

You will use a handheld device to manage appointments, plan efficient routes and record readings accurately. The role involves working outdoors and walking several miles each day, so youll need to be energetic, organised and comfortable working on your own.

Youll also play an important role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring customers are treated professionally during every visit.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Must live within one of the following postcode areas: TN1 - TN31
• Able to complete the required screening and vetting process
• Able to provide a full five-year employment history
• Able to successfully pass a DBS check
