We are hiring Meter Readers in South West England. No experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from gas, electricity, and water meters at both commercial and residential properties.
- Update meter readings accurately during the day on a handheld device.
- Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
- Conduct Charge Point surveys.
- Provide excellent customer service and a friendly professional approach.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Benefits and Pay
- Pay: £12.61 – £13.43 per hour (weekly payment).
- Weekly hours: 40–45 with flexible start/finish times, including occasional Saturday work.
- Average annual earnings: £27,000 – £31,000.
- Monthly bonus up to £1,000.
- Overtime rates of £16–£18 at manager’s discretion.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence – minimum 1 year, max 6 points, no DR offences.
- Physically fit; able to bend, lift, kneel, climb stairs, crouch, walk ~6–7 miles per day.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Clear DBS check (no unspent convictions).
- Credit report check (no county court judgments, IVAs, debt relief orders in last 6 years).
- Five years of employment history.
- Previous customer‑service experience (preferred, not essential).
Training
One week of classroom and field training with an experienced meter reader.
