Job summary

Koch Metals Trading Limited, based in London, seeks a hands-on Business Systems Analyst to support the metals trading business on Trinity (by Quoreka) and the surrounding data ecosystem. You will work closely with traders, risk, operations, and finance, turning ambiguous problems into working solutions.

Ideal candidates will prototype quickly, design thoughtful solutions, and communicate effectively across a busy trading floor. Metals knowledge is a plus, and willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in trading, commodities, or financial markets.
• Hands-on SQL to explore data.
• Ability to prototype solutions and iterate.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn metals domain.
• Knowledge of end-to-end trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Partner across front, middle, and back office to deliver high-value solutions across the metals trade lifecycle.
• Prototype, build, and iterate concepts into working proofs of concept.
• Explore trade, position, P&L, and risk data with SQL to produce actionable analysis.
• Learn the end-to-end trade lifecycle on Trinity and validate flows as they change.
• Lead requirements conversations with traders and operations; translate to clear specs.
• Identify automation opportunities, including AI and modern tooling.
• Support UAT planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Communicate status, risks, and trade-offs to business and IT partners across locations.
