Job summary
SLR Consulting is seeking a Metallurgist / Mineral Processing Engineer to join our Mining Advisory team in a hybrid role across the UK. You will work on a diverse range of technical and consulting projects focused on mineral processing, process technology, operational improvement, and optimisation, collaborating with senior specialists.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Metallurgy or a related field, with experience in mineral processing and strong analytical and communication skills to
Qualifications
- A degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, mining, industrial minerals, or related process industries.
- Experience supporting or delivering technical studies, operational support, process improvement, or optimisation projects.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to process technology, operational improvement, and optimisation projects, ensuring objectives related to safety, environment, technical performance, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Coordinating activities across multidisciplinary teams including internal specialists, site personnel, and contractors.
- Delivering technical consulting services and client deliverables across mineral processing disciplines.
- Preparing high-quality technical reports and presentations.
