A leading F1 team in the United Kingdom is seeking a Metallics Machinist Apprentice. In this structured apprenticeship, you will develop your machining skills while working on high-performance components for racing. Using advanced machining and programming expertise, the team turns complex designs into reality - from full-size car components to 60% wind tunnel models, jigs, fixtures, and even Heritage parts. As a Metallics Machinist Apprentice, you will embark on a structured rotational program designed to develop your technical skills and knowledge in all aspects of machining. Working within both our bespoke Engineering training facility and our world‑class manufacturing departments, you will gain hands‑on experience of machining, inspection and design while learning industry standards and best practices. Alongside practical training, you will attend college one day per week to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the production of high‑performance F1 components, supported by experienced mentors, enabling you to build a foundation for a successful career in motorsport engineering.
