Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate power presses, metal-forming and cutting equipment.
• Good attention to detail and quality-minded.
• Safety conscious and able to follow PPE and PUWER procedures.
• Flexible to cover different production areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate power presses, metal-forming and cutting equipment to manufacture products to specification.
• Meet production schedules and ensure the correct quantities are manufactured.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
• Identify, stack, pack and transfer components safely between production processes.
• Carry out routine checks, maintain equipment and report faults promptly.
• Monitor production speeds, tooling condition and quality, reporting concerns to the Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure packaging materials and consumables are replenished when required.
• Safely segregate, dispose of and record production waste.
• Support initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity and working practices.
