Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Mechanical Operative to join the metal finishing team in Redditch. You will finish precision-engineered metal parts using air-powered hand tools, with a focus on fettling, deburring and polishing to tight tolerances.

The role offers shifts with evenings (4.30pm–2.30am/1.30am) and a pay range of £16.97–£18.25 per hour, with potential to earn £19.64 after training. Overtime is available and a generous holiday entitlement applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with air-powered hand tools is advantageous.
• Ability to finish precision-engineered metal components to tight tolerances.
• Commutable from Redditch and surrounding areas.
