Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Beaconsfield. You will carry out vehicle strip, fit and mechanical repairs, ensuring vehicles return to pre-accident condition with high quality workmanship.

The role requires prior MET/Strip Fitter experience; ATA/NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not essential, with optional EV/ADAS training to boost your candidacy.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Vehicle Technician in an accident repair environment is required.
• ATA or NVQ qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
• Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training would be beneficial.
• ADAS experience or accreditation would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out removal and refitting of vehicle components to support high-quality body repairs.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles efficiently following repair methods and manufacturer guidelines.
• Identify and report any additional damage not included in the original estimate.
• Perform mechanical repairs including suspension work, four-wheel alignment, and diagnostic procedures.
• Complete GEO and ADAS-related tasks where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure repairs are completed on time and to a high standard.
