Job summary

FMG Repair Services in Birmingham is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our growing team. You will carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to manufacturer standards and document work accurately.

We offer flexible working patterns, 40/45 hour contracts, shifts from 6:30am to 1:00am, and a competitive rate up to £24 per hour with uncapped bonuses and an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• A proactive, team-focused approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs to manufacturer standards
• Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults relating to vehicle systems and components
• Ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards
• Accurately recording all work completed in line with company procedures
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to the highest standards

Late shifts are 40 hours worked over 4 days Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am.
