The MET Technician will perform mechanical repairs and bodywork, fault finding, and re-assembly using new parts, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable MET Technician experience in a busy bodyshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• ATA or NVQ qualifications preferred but not essential.
• Time-served individuals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles.
• Dismantling, fault finding, and diagnostic work to identify issues accurately.
• Re-assemble vehicles using new parts as required.
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle safety and quality.
• Identify faults or work that requires attention, prioritising safety considerations.
• Safe and legal road testing of vehicles to confirm repair quality and road worthiness.
