Location: Daventry | Department: Restoration / MET Technician | Employment type: Full-time, Day shift | Salary: £35,000 per annum. Temp to Perm opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • As a MET Technician, you will play a key role in dismantling vehicles and their components, ensuring that every part is handled with precision, care, and organisation.
  • Methodically dismantle a range of vehicle components and assemblies (including but not limited to engines, drivetrains, suspension, and body parts).
  • Identify, sort, and organise all removed parts for inspection and cataloguing.
  • Conduct visual and functional checks to evaluate the condition of mechanical and structural components.
  • Highlight parts suitable for reuse, repair, or replacement.
  • Clean, prepare, and restore reusable components; operate shot blast and parts cleaning equipment.
  • Label and document all parts, ensuring accurate records in the inventory management system.
  • Assist in inventory organisation to maintain a smooth workflow across restoration and rebuild teams.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and restoration specialists to meet project-specific requirements; communicate clearly with team members to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain the disassembly area, tools, and workshop to keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe.
