Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles.

Job description

Our Motor Trade Client is an Insurer Approved Accident Repair Group based in Plymouth and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of Bodyshop productive.

Duties

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our client’s high standards
• Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
• To identify additional repair work and liaise with the Bodyshop advisor
• Communicating effectively with other team members
• Carry out quality controls

Requirements

• Practical expertise in vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
• ATA MET certification
• Experience with light commercial vehicles (LCV)
• Relevant qualifications in mechanics and suspension
• Skills in steering geometry alignment and adjustment
• Glazing and minor panel repair capabilities
• Proficiency in preparing and priming new or repaired panels up to the first masking stage
• Competence in air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
• Proficient in plastic repair work

For your hard work as a MET Technician/Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £43,000 with an OTE of £52,000.
