MET Technician

Location: Coventry

Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time)

Salary: up to £60,000 per annum

The Role

Our client's MET Technicians play a crucial role in each customer's repair journey. Working closely with repair consultants and the production team, you'll help ensure vehicles are restored to the highest standards and returned to their owners as quickly and safely as possible.

Reporting directly to the Site Production Lead, you'll be responsible for removing and assessing additional damage, then refitting components to manufacturer standards — maintaining the quality and efficiency our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim work on a wide range of vehicles
  • Assessing and documenting additional damage discovered during the repair process
  • Refitting components to exacting standards
  • Working collaboratively with production and repair teams to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality requirements
Qualifications & Experience (Desirable)
  • Proven experience in vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
  • ATA MET accreditation (preferred)
  • Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) experience
  • Relevant mechanical or suspension repair qualifications
  • Steering geometry alignment and adjustment
  • Experience with glazing, minor panel repairs, and plastic repairs
  • Air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
