Job summary

FMG RS in Cambridge is looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our busy workshop, dismantling and reassembling vehicles to the highest standards and restoring them to pre-accident condition for insurance partners.

This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £24 per hour plus uncapped bonus schemes, with ongoing training and progression opportunities within FMG RS and the wider ZIGUP mobility group, plus access to generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Has proven experience in vehicle repair (MET).
• Delivers high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds relevant qualifications/accreditations (ATA/NVQ) - desirable but not essential.

As a MET Technician, you’ll be responsible for dismantling and reassembling vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed with precision and care. Working in our Cambridge workshop, you’ll restore vehicles to their pre‑accident condition and deliver the exceptional service our customers expect.

We’re seeking an experienced MET Technician who:

• Has proven experience in vehicle repair (MET)
• Delivers high-quality workmanship with attention to detail
• Works well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Holds relevant qualifications/accreditations (ATA/NVQ) - desirable but not essential

The workshop in Cambridge works mainly for our insurance contractual partners and our sister companies, Northgate Vehicle Hire and Auxillis. With a stream of work to the site you will have great potential bonus earnings.
