Job summary

Siemens PLC is seeking a Principal - MES Solution Architect focused on Siemens Opcenter to drive end-to-end MES architecture across large, multi-site deployments. You will own the design, integration, and manufacturing enablement, translating shopfloor needs into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.

In this role you will lead technical governance, mentor delivery teams, and collaborate with ERP, PLM, SCADA and IT stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with ISA-95/ISA-88 standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in MES solution architecture and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale MES programs across multi-site manufacturing.
• Hands-on with Opcenter modules (Execution/APS/Quality/Intelligence).
• Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, IoT, and data platforms.
• Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 standards and manufacturing data models.
• Excellent communication skills to engage both plant-level and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end MES solution architecture for enterprise deployments with Siemens Opcenter as the primary platform.
• Translate production, quality, traceability, and scheduling requirements into designs.
• Own architecture artifacts including workflows, integration patterns, and deployment views.
• Provide architectural governance across the MES lifecycle and mentoring of designers and leads.
• Design and govern integrations between Opcenter and ERP/PLM/SCADA/IoT platforms; drive data flows and ISA-95 alignment.
