Merkur Slots UK Limited is seeking a part-time Team Member in Wellington to deliver friendly customer service in a retail/gaming setting. The role offers 16 hours per week with a pay rate of £12.84–£13.84 per hour, including a higher night rate from 23:00 to 06:00. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

You will engage customers, maintain clean gaming areas, support promotions and uphold brand standards while building a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsabilités

• Ensure venue housekeeping is clean and maintained to high standards.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments per brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behavior for suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and contribute to success.
• Deliver customer service aligned with company standards and customer satisfaction.
• Log interactions with customers as required by policies.
• Maintain brand dress code and presentation while on duty.
• Impart product knowledge to support the customer journey.

Hours Per Week: 16

Pay Rate: £12.84 - £13.84 per hour

Night Rate: £13.84 per hour between 23:00 and 06:00

Duties include but not limited to:

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.


• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.


• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.


• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.


• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.


• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".


• To own and solve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.


• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.


• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.


• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.


• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
