MERKUR Slots UK Limited in Barnsley is hiring a Team Member Nights to join our busy gaming venues. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer experiences, maintaining venue standards, and supporting gaming operations during night shifts.

You’ll be trained and supported to become confident in all brand guidelines, with progression opportunities and a benefits package. The position offers 32 hours per week at competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced venue.
• Flexible and dedicated with high reliability.
• Attention to detail and adherence to brand standards.
• Industry and compliance training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain venue housekeeping to a high standard, cleaning gaming equipment and surfaces.
• Provide service rounds and refreshments per brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour for suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and contribute to campaign success.
• Ensure customer service aligns with company standards and drives satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating per complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log actions per policy.
• Maintain a sharp personal presentation and comply with dress code.
• Build strong product knowledge to enhance the customer journey.

Duties include but not limited to

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.
• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
• To own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.
• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
