Job summary

MERKUR Slots UK Ltd in Eltham is seeking a Team Member - Nights to help create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver a high-quality gaming experience. You will assist customers and maintain venue standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility to cover weekends and Bank Holidays, with full training provided to become a valued member of our market-leading team. We offer clear career progression and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environments.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
• Flexible and dedicated with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping standards are high, including cleaning gaming equipment, floors and surfaces.
• Provide service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and flag suspicious/disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration and ensure 100% accuracy where required.
• Support promotions to run smoothly and contribute to their success.
• Deliver customer service in line with company standards and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating as needed per complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy.
• Maintain brand presentation and dress code while on duty.
• Build product knowledge to enhance the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Understand safeguarding policies and challenge inappropriate behaviour.
• Duties may include other tasks as required.

Duties include but not limited to:

• To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• To ensure service rounds and refreshments are offered in line with brand guidelines.
• To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue.
• To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.
• To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in "customer satisfaction".
• To own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• To interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate. Such interactions must be logged in accordance with policies.
• To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the brand dress code is always adhered to, whilst on duty.
• Achieve, maintain and impart to customers great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25
