Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a retail associate to act as the customer contact, assist with plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support profitability and teamwork. You will greet customers, operate the register, bag items, and help locate products while maintaining store standards and safeguarding company assets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; face items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate the cash register.
• Collect payment, make change, and bag purchases.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store clean including cashier area, restrooms and stockroom.
