Job summary

UK Greetings in the United Kingdom is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to support our team during busy seasonal periods. Based in Bury, you will visit local retailers, tidy and dress displays, unpack deliveries and install new displays across a small territory.

No cold calling is involved and full training is provided. The role offers casual hours with travel within a reasonable distance from home and the potential to move into a permanent position if opportunities arise.

As a Casual Greeting Card Merchandiser you will work on an ad hoc basis as required supporting our existing team during busy seasonal periods and to help cover during holidays and absence. The role involves calling upon carious local retail outlets in and around your territory (within a reasonable travelling distance from your home address) ensuring our customers displays are of the highest standard. The role may lead to a permanent position should the opportunity arise.

The role involves:

• Visiting various local retailers, high street chains or supermarkets
• Tidying & filling greeting card & gift dressing displays
• Locating & unpacking deliveries for replenishment of displays
• Installation of new displays
• No cold calling or direct selling is involved

To be a Part Time Merchandiser, you will need to have:

• Reliable & conscientious work ethic
• Flexibility around working times & notably during peak seasonal periods when overtime is likely to be required
• The initiative & ability to work on your own
• A strong team ethic
• A confident & friendly personality
• No experience is required, as we offer full training
• Full driving licence (essential) as you may be required to work across multiple locations in your local area
