Job summary

CPM is seeking Merchandisers in the Swanley area for part-time, ongoing work. 8–10 hours weekly at £16.28 per hour PAYE (holiday included). Flexible Mon–Sun, with fixed visits Tue, Thu and Sat.

Car use essential and ideal experience in retail or merchandising, health & beauty preferred. Territory covers stores within ~10 miles of Swanley BR8; training provided. You’ll visit stores, set up POS materials, stock shelves, and optimize displays to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience with Boots, department stores or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Own car is essential for visiting stores and carrying materials.
• Available Monday to Sunday with fixed visits on Tue, Thu and Sat.
• Reliable, adaptable and comfortable working independently.
• Confident with store staff and building in-store relationships.
• Willing to report via app using phone/tablet with clear photos.

Responsibilities

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits and POS setup.
• Navigate fixtures and arrange products per planograms.
• Keep stock on shelves and displays eye-catching to drive sales.
• Top up products on shelves and negotiate additional display space where possible.
• Move stock as needed and handle light lifting.
• Deliver reporting via app with photos and feedback.
• Maintain positive relationships with store staff and teams.

Job description

We are looking for Merchandisers in the Swanley area. Approx 8 - 10 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods) £16.28 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available. Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ideal experience would be in retail or merchandising - health & beauty would be beneficial -supporting new launches, refreshes, or promotional activity.Use of a car is essential.

Ideal location: Swanley, United Kingdom, BR8

Territory covering: Swanley(you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here) and surrounding

What You'll Be Doing:

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving)
• Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
• Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.
• Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they're eye-catching and easy for customers to find.
• Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.
• Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.

What we're looking for:

• Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Someone who is available Monday to Sunday. We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
• Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home).
• Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app - this includes sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback.
