Job summary

Rise Resourcing is recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a retailer based in Leeds. The role involves working with buying to drive seasonal strategy, planning WSSI proposals, and developing product lines with internal teams.

You will review trading reports to minimise stock risks and manage stock to boost sales. Key requirements include experience in retail merchandising at junior or merchandiser level, strong communication, numeracy, and Excel proficiency, plus the ability to lead and motivate

I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a retailer based in Leeds.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

• Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
• Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
• Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
• Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries
• Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly

Key requirement for the role;

• Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment, at a Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser title.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
• Commercially aware and business focussed.
• Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
• Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
