Responsibilities

• Managing intake, stock flow and availability across product categories, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
• Building and maintaining accurate sales, stock and intake plans in line with commercial targets.
• Analyzing weekly and seasonal trade, identifying opportunities and risks, and recommending action.
• Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and Buying team to inform range planning and future strategy.
• Managing markdown and promotional planning to optimise stock and margin.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end product flow.
• Producing clear, accurate reporting to support trading decisions across the business.

About the Role

We're partnering with a rapidly growing online homewares brand based in Manchester to find a talented Merchandiser to join their team.

The Role

As Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in driving the trading performance of your category, working closely with Buying, Planning, and the wider commercial team to maximise sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing intake, stock flow and availability across your product categories, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time
• Building and maintaining accurate sales, stock and intake plans in line with commercial targets
• Analysing weekly and seasonal trade, identifying opportunities and risks, and recommending action
• Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and Buying team to inform range planning and future strategy

About You

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser (or strong experience as a Junior Merchandiser ready for the next step)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear commercial actions
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace
• A proactive, hands-on approach - comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Confident communicator, able to build strong relationships across buying, planning and the wider business
• Advanced Excel skills
