Join the Magic: Merchandise Planning Coordinator – Hammersmith, London

Fixed Term Contract thru May 1st 2026.

As a Merchandise Planning Coordinator within our Global Product Creation (GPC) team, you’ll help bring beloved stories to life through our retail experiences. Based in our Hammersmith office, this Fixed Term Contract role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of our Direct to Consumer Retail (DTCR) business, supporting the planning and execution of product assortments that delight fans across EMEA, APAC, and new marketplaces.

Your Role in the Story

Reporting to the Associate Merchandise Planner, you’ll play a key part in driving business performance by supporting quarterly and annual assortment strategies. You’ll analyse item, category, and channel performance to optimise opportunities and minimise risk, ensuring our products reach the right guests at the right time.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the maintenance of department items and communicate assortment changes to inform future orders.
  • Prepare and review weekly sales performance, item mapping, and flow updates.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and manage stock movement across the supply chain.
  • Own and maintain the order tracker for multiple regions and marketplaces.
  • Provide insights and analytics to support in-season trading decisions.
  • Collaborate with buying and planning teams to ensure timely product releases.
  • Manage planning tasks related to trading performance, intake, and product availability.
  • Ensure allocation mix and range plans are ready for each channel.
  • Identify and communicate stock concerns with clear action plans.
  • Assist with departmental projects and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Utilise planning tools to analyse business performance.
  • Set up liquidation activity accurately across markets and channels.
Who We’re Looking For

You’re a detail-oriented, collaborative individual with a passion for retail and data. You bring a proactive mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment where storytelling meets strategy.

You’ll Need:
  • Recent experience in retail (in-store or merchandising assistant/allocator roles).
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working with data and numbers, with strong Excel skills. There will be a short Maths assessment at interview stage.
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity for working across EMEA
  • High accuracy, strong organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Working Pattern
