Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is recruiting an experienced Merchandise Planner to join an established international fashion and lifestyle brand on an initial 3-month temporary booking. Candidates must be immediately available and not on a notice period to be considered.

This role will focus on financial planning, pricing, stock management and commercial performance across international markets. The role offers hybrid working, with 3-4 days per week based in the Central London office.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandise planning within fashion or retail.
• Strong knowledge of WSSI and OTB and forecasting.
• Experience in wholesale, franchise or international planning is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Commercially minded and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial plans and forecasts to support commercial objectives.
• Manage WSSI, open-to-buy budgets and seasonal stock projections.
• Monitor sales, inventory, margins and sell-through performance.
• Review wholesale pricing and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Produce KPI reports and analyse sales and stock trends.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance and international teams to optimize stock levels and product assortments.

About you:

• Previous experience in merchandise planning within fashion, retail or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of WSSI, OTB, financial forecasting and inventory management.
• Experience in wholesale, franchise or international retail planning would be advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Commercially minded, highly organised and confident working independently.
