Job summary

A leading construction consultancy in the UK is looking for a Project Controls Engineer to develop project schedules and manage budgets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in construction-related projects, particularly MEP. Responsibilities include risk management, document control, and facilitating communication across project teams to ensure successful delivery of outcomes. Strong skills in project management software are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Controls Engineer, preferably in MEP with exposure to Construction Projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes in construction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Work closely with finance to develop project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings with updates on progress.
  • Assist in development of quality control procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within project controls.
