Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP is seeking an Associate to join our experienced MEP team based at Reading, Theale. You will draw on extensive design experience with building services installations and lead MEP project work, delivering high-quality solutions for a diverse range of sectors.

You will manage project teams, coordinate with clients and other professionals, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electrical building services design from consultant or contractor background.
• Accredited degree or higher in an applicable discipline (HNC/HND).
• Working towards or achieved IEng or CEng status.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work in a close-knit team.
• Strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to client care.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP engineering teams delivering project work.
• Manage risk with strong commercial acumen in MEP projects.
• Act as lead engineer for electrical building services design.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Produce reports, drawings and specifications for RIBA design stages.
• Use CAD and BIM (Revit) to design building systems.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors.
• Attend project group and technical meetings and ensure safety compliance.
