Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Director to lead a major data centre project in the Slough area, delivering the full MEP lifecycle from construction through commissioning in a complex mission-critical environment.

You will oversee mechanical and electrical teams, drive programme, cost and risk management, and coordinate with design, commercial and commissioning teams to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP projects from start to completion (data centres, life sciences or technical schemes).
• Strong background in leading multidisciplinary project teams and complex building services systems.
• Experience with commissioning processes and handover for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical teams across the full project lifecycle.
• Oversee project planning, programme development, cost control and risk management.
• Coordinate with design, commercial and commissioning teams to ensure alignment and quality.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners to meet milestones.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Construction Director to lead a business unit and deliver a complex scheme in the Slough area. This role will lead the delivery of a large-scale data centre project, managing the full MEP lifecycle from construction through commissioning within a complex mission-critical environment.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full MEP project lifecycle, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. The Role As An MEP Construction Director Will Include:

The Successful MEP Construction Director Will Have:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP projects from start to completion

• Experience leading large multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong understanding of commissioning and complex building services systems
• Previous experience working for a major MEP contractor/Principle Contraction
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
