A children's support organization in England seeks a dedicated Mentor to provide positive support for a child facing challenges in the classroom. The Mentor will create engaging session plans based on the child's interests, promoting confidence and emotional well-being. Candidates should have experience in working with children, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to engagement, with flexibility in hours.
Prospero Teaching a fantastic Mentor to provide consistent, positive support to a 9-year-old child who is currently finding the classroom environment challenging and is at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). The mentor will help build the child's confidence, self-esteem, and engagement through activities that reflect their interests‑particularly castles, kings and queens, and painting. A strong, trusting relationship with a positive adult role model is key to helping this child make progress.
