Mental Health Youth Worker

Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well‑being of children and young people?

Are you ready to work with pupils who find it difficult to build social and emotional relationships?

In recent years there is a massive focus on supporting the mental health of pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences. We are currently seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 basis for this academic year in a school in Swindon. These opportunities come with an option of progressing onto a contract at the school.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils within the classroom and run activities with pupils outside the classroom.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure the right support is in place for the students.
  • Provide full‑time support and guidance, with opportunities for additional training, including prevent and safeguarding training.
