Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Workers to assist pupils in SEND and SEMH settings. You will help pupils manage emotions, build trust, and create safe spaces for learning, often making a real difference in daily school life.

The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support, de-escalation, and building routines with collaboration from teachers and external professionals. Training and ongoing CPD are provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing.
• Backgrounds in youth work, care, psychology, or coaching are ideal.

We’re working with supportive SEND and SEMH schools looking for Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Workers who can bring calm, consistency, and real understanding to pupils who need it most.

This role is all about connection. You’ll be helping pupils manage emotions, build trust, and feel safe enough to learn, often for the first time in a while.
