Job summary

Pin Point Health & Social Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker in Clacton-on-Sea to provide compassionate care across supported living, residential services, specialist units and private hospitals. The role includes administering medication, assisting with daily living, and maintaining safe, respectful care.

Applicants should have mental health experience, healthcare exposure, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working within a mental health setting (1-year minimum).
• 6–12 months experience within a healthcare environment, preferably supporting clients with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication
• Assisting with daily living and domestic duties
• Developing positive working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensuring health, safety and welfare of clients
• Maintaining accurate reports such as support plans
• Completing administrative duties
• Maintaining communication with the Service Manager
• Respect client confidentiality and individuality
• Build and maintain relationships with service users and families
