Job summary

MPL Care Homes Limited in Felixstowe is seeking two compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team, delivering high-quality care to residents with complex mental health needs and supporting independence. You will implement personalised care plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a willingness to cover weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe.
• Previous experience with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (schizophrenia) is essential.
• Proficiency in active listening and the ability to read body language.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable.

Requirements:

• Must live within a radius of 15 miles from Felixstowe.
• Previous experience in working with adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs (particularly schizophrenia) is essential and is a deal braker.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
