The pupils have a range of difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, attachment disorders and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Mental Health Support Assistant who is understanding, proactive and ready for a challenge!

Qualifications

The children in this School have extremely complex needs and therefore require a Mental Health Support Assistant who is open‑minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will therefore have experience working with children or vulnerable adults. Graduates who have qualified in Psychology, Criminology or Counselling would be perfect for this position.

Working Environment

The school has small class sizes to allow for greater 1:1 time between pupils and the staff. The school also focuses on promoting inclusivity and diversity in every aspect of school life.
