Shift Pattern - predominately clinical hours Monday - Friday
The Directorate of Forensic Mental Health provides inpatient care in both medium and low secure settings at Rowanbank Clinic/ Leverndale Hospital. The service provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patients with a focus on risk assessment and reduction, rehabilitation and discharge planning for the return to the community.
The post holder will have clinical leadership and line management responsibility for a staff team and be accountable for the co‑ordination and provision of specialist nursing care and treatment for individuals who have a mental disorder or learning disability who have demonstrated serious offending behaviour or present significant risk to themselves or others. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the organisations objectives, promote team working and ensure safe and effective clinical practice within their area or responsibility

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
