Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner with a focus on Mental Health to join the Academy of Research and Improvement team. The role is a full-time contract; job share and part-time arrangements may be considered.

Role supports Research Nurses and AHPs inNIHR portfolio studies, recruiting participants, and administering site files and databases across multiple sites in Southampton/Portsmouth/Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient-facing healthcare role.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and face to face.
• Knowledge of clinical research and data protection practices.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of NIHR portfolio studies and recruit participants.
• Provide administrative support for site files and computer databases.
• Work across a range of specialty areas within the Trust.
• Travel daily for meetings/clinical visits across sites in Southampton/Portsmouth/Hampshire.
