Overview

Hounslow CAMHS Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is recruiting 2 Mental Health Practitioners to work within our schools‑based early intervention mental health team. We support children/young people with mild‑to‑moderate low mood, anxiety and behaviours that challenge within mainstream school settings. We offer a range of interventions and work creatively to support our mainstream schools in implementing a Whole School Approach to mental health.

Key Requirements

Seeking enthusiastic applicants who have an interest in working with CYP within educational settings, who are flexible, creative, and interested in service development and improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Embed the Whole School Approach (WSA) by co‑facilitating workshops for parents and staff.
  • Deliver targeted and universal groups to primary and secondary school pupils and provide evidence‑based interventions to address mental health needs.
  • Support service evaluations and audits of interventions offered within the team.
  • Prepare data for quarterly data submissions.
  • Engage in service development, support roll‑out of new approaches, and monitor impact.
  • Participate in regular supervision within the team to ensure adherence to professional guidelines and policies.
