A vacancy for a full time Mental Health Practitioner within the First Response Services of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS FoundationTrust. The role is based in Chester’s Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team and will provide urgent care across Crisis Resolution, Liaison, Street Triage, Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.
The Practitioner will work within a multi‑disciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment of people presenting in crisis. You will undertake detailed assessments of people’s needs and use your clinical skills and knowledge to provide intervention and treatment. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service which includes Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.
Applicants should possess the required professional qualifications to practice as a Mental Health Practitioner and demonstrate competence in crisis assessment and therapeutic intervention. The candidate will need to meet the essential criteria described in the person specification for this role. The role is open to applicants who meet the Equality Act 2010 definition of disability and who can provide the essential criteria for the post under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme for armed forces applicants.
