We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Mental Health team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Men's Prison located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality. Hours Monday to Sunday from 08:00 - 18:30. There is an expectation to work one weekend in 6, on a rolling shift pattern.

Qualifications
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Workers (Mental Health), Occupational Therapists (Mental Health), Speech and Language Therapists (Mental Health)
  • Experience of working within mental health settings, developing knowledge and understanding of this patient group
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
  • Experience of working collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment

Salary & Support

This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £49,175 per annum - depending on experience.

  • Provide advice for treatment options and initiate supportive care plans
  • Work with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team
