A regional healthcare provider in England is seeking candidates for a role within the Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will deliver Structured Clinical Management to service users with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. Responsibilities include high-quality interventions, mental health assessments, and facilitating support groups. Flexible working is available, promoting a positive work-life balance.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Lancaster and Morecambe Community Mental Health Team.
The successful candidates will work with service users who have a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) who are currently on CMHT caseloads. You will deliver Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to a caseload of service users within the community setting. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion with the team.
SCM is recognised as the gold standard of care for people with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). It is evidence based and in line with NICE guidelines. SCM has been selected by the trust as the approach to implement within the personality disorder pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop specific skills in line with evidence based treatment and be involved in providing support for service users to recover, develop autonomy and no longer require secondary mental health services.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well‑being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
Lancashire & South Cumbria Foundation Trust encourages flexible working; we believe that a positive work/life balance benefits NHS employees through improved health and well‑being. We would consider working patterns such as term time, part time, compressed hours, flexi‑time and career breaks. We encourage applicants to state clearly on their application forms this request and discuss these options at interview.
