Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks a Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5) for Queen’s Hospital in Romford. You will provide one-to-one care in an acute hospital setting, focusing on safety, emotional support and wellbeing for patients under challenging circumstances.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£16.95–£23.20) with flexible hours, ongoing professional development, a supportive environment and meaningful patient impact.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a mental health setting.
• Ability to provide a clinical reference.
• Current NMC or HCPC registration.
• Able to provide an enhanced DBS.
• Passed preceptorship.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized care to patients requiring intensive support.
• Provide emotional support and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Support patients through their most challenging times and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain standards of care and documentation.
